Ozanay Burce Bozkaya

Student at Eyüboğlu High School

I am currently in my last year of studies at Eyüboğlu High School in Istanbul, Turkey. I currently study as part of the International Baccalaureate curriculum and have participated in many student clubs at school such as Destination Imagination, Model United Nations, English Theatre, etc. I’ve been at Eyüboğlu since the 6th grade and was previously a student at Istanbul International School. My hobbies include reading books (preferably English), playing video games on both the computer and console, playing table tennis and philosophic debate. Over the years, I have developed interests in many things, foremost among them a love of economics, public speech, debate and international politics and history.

Building Consensus: The Search for Mutual Cooperation

This talk is based on delivering a message that we need to understand each other. Covering everyday examples of social interaction to some international political overtures, I focus on conveying a sense of urgency for international and local cooperation. From the war-torn grounds of Syria to the castle of every common man, I explore why and how we are affected by the lack of mutual support and try to understand why cooperation and problem-solving is necessary to face an uncertain future.
