Superheroes: Turning pain into strength.

We have all endured life, with its ups and downs. While people tend to see pain as something negative, I see that such a thing could be an opportunity for one to channel it and use it as a source and reason for people to come out be their own "heroes". Personal, painful experiences can be turned into strength only if we choose to do so, which can lead to our defining moments in life.

I dream of one day building a career in the world of film production (especially in superhero blockbusters). In my free time, I am an amateur photographer and filmmaker. I have made videos on behalf of my school and other organizations that I’ve been involved in. The main reason I love superhero movies is that beyond paper they show more depth of human consciousness and apart from the high-end blockbuster entertainment, they have more tools to better show human conflicts at a higher scale.

I am a great fan of the works of Albert Camus (The Stranger), Nietzsche (Thus Spoke Zarathustra) and Herman Hesse (Damien) as well as fine directors such as Stanley Kubrick (A Clockwork Orange), Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Lars Von Trier (Melancholia).
