I came across a war-torn family and 51 other people who have never met in person.They taught me about taking things as they are, imagining what they can be and acting accordingly.

I’m a psychotherapist, a writer, an activist, an educator and always a student. I graduated from CSUF in 2001 with a MS degree in marriage, family and child counseling. My specailty is domestic violence.
I prepared and presented a TV show called “Kendimi Tanıyorum” for 100 episodes on TRT Okul. I have had three books published by Remzi Kitabevi; “Bir İlişki 50 Günde Nasıl Kurtulur?” “Çeyiz Sandığı” and “Kendin Ol Hayatı Keşfet”. With two other friends, I travel all around Turkey doing a stage show called “Kadının Adı Var” (The Woman Has a Name). I’ve been chosen by the UNWomen organization as a champion in the field of empowering women. I now serve as a mentor for UNWomen. I have my own private practice and I also give seminars to many organizations on stress management, motivation, leadership skills and such. I love reading biographies, watching documentaries, traveling and learning languages.I can speak English, German and Spanish.
