Critical Conversations

I plan to speak a little about my experiences as a Juvenile Detention Nurse in America. The idea of working in a jail had terrified me because of all the stories I, as well as most, have heard; mostly bad stories. After meeting these kids and actually speaking with them, I realized that they were just that, kids. They needed guidance and assistance. I have a special young man that I met during my time at that job that changed my life, and his.

I was (am) a Nurse from America, who moved to Istanbul due to fate. I have a passion to help people, anybody and everybody I can and that is why I had chosen nursing and I strongly believe that is why I ended up where I am today, a teacher who loves her job.
