The Pressure We Inherit
In our TEDx talk, we’ll be exploring the idea of pressure; where it comes from, how it affects us, and how we can start to see it differently. We’ll look at the ways pressure can push us to grow, but also how it can quietly build up and weigh us down without us even noticing.
Through personal stories and cultural comparisons, we’ll talk about how different environments shape what we feel we have to prove, and why pressure looks different for everyone. We’ll also introduce the idea of the “flow zone,” a space where challenge and skill meet, and where pressure stops feeling overwhelming and starts feeling energizing.
Our goal is to rethink pressure not as something we have to escape, but as something we can work with. By understanding it better, we can turn pressure into something that helps us move forward instead of holding us back.
